there’s really nothing quite like the photographs and styles you can encounter while rummaging through the findings of The Sartorialist . when i first found out about Scott Schuman (& i felt like i should have known much earlier, seeing as though he’s been internationally known and respected for many years) i was immediately in awe that such a career even existed! think about it, this man, along with contributing to many top fashion magazines, travels to the world’s most fashion forward cities and captures, through photography and journalism, every day people, and their street style, with their unique looks, and individuality. it definitely encapsulates part of my dream career, seeing as though many designers find inspiration from these every day street stylists.
all that being said, i want you to check it out, if you aren’t already aware! especially you men, it is often semi-harder for me to come by style inspiration for men, and he’s captured plenty to please the eyes…
here’s just some of his recent postings, the mixture of journalism and photography just overwhelms me! (dont forget these are real everyday people!)
and check out this interview with Schuman from H&M for styling tips
&
this book, i own it, it’s amazing…get yourself a copy!
that is all, happy styling :)
